What is the Guaranteed Pay Scheme?

Our Guaranteed Pay Scheme is designed for reliable education professionals who want the flexibility of supply work with greater financial stability.

If you meet the requirements of the scheme, remain available on your agreed working days and accept suitable assignments offered to you, you’ll receive your agreed guaranteed pay even if U-educate is unable to place you that day.

It’s a straightforward way of providing greater security for our regular teachers and support staff while ensuring schools have access to dependable professionals when they need them.

Who is Eligible?

• Complete all required U-educate vetting and compliance checks
• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service
• Demonstrate consistent reliability and professionalism
• Remain available for work on your agreed days
• Accept suitable assignments offered by U-educate
• Meet our required standards of conduct and safeguarding

Eligibility and continued participation in the scheme are subject to U-educate’s terms and requirements.

How Does Guaranteed Pay Work?

We’ll agree your availability and guaranteed hours or days with you in advance.

If you’re available for work as agreed and accept suitable assignments offered by U-educate, your guaranteed hours will be paid even if we’re unable to place you on a particular day.

What Happens if a Booking is Cancelled?

If a school or U-educate cancels an eligible booking, your guaranteed pay will still apply in accordance with the terms of the scheme.

If you cancel a booking or become unavailable for work, guaranteed pay will not normally apply unless the absence or cancellation has been authorised by U-educate.

What We Expect From You

• Be contactable between 7am and 9am on agreed working days
• Remain available on the days agreed with U-educate
• Attend all confirmed assignments
• Arrive punctually and behave professionally
• Follow school and U-educate policies
• Maintain high standards of conduct and safeguarding
• Keep your compliance documentation up to date

Remaining on the Guaranteed Pay Scheme

Eligibility may be reviewed or removed where there is:

• Repeated refusal of suitable work
• Poor reliability or punctuality
• Repeated or unauthorised absence
• Failure to maintain required compliance
• Professional conduct concerns
• Safeguarding concerns

Any participation in the scheme remains subject to U-educate’s full Guaranteed Pay Scheme terms and conditions.
